Job summary

12 Month Contract – Fully onsite£53.24 per hour umbrella (Inside IR35)

This Aerodynamics Discipline senior role within the airframe engineering Flight Sciences delivery team will provide subject matter expertise in one or two key aerodynamics areas and support current and future AIR products across projects. You will engage with customers, suppliers and researchers while driving advanced analysis, design and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in the Aerodynamics domain in a research or industrial environment.
• Experience of working with customers, suppliers, partners, researchers.
• Postgraduate (PhD) qualification or equivalent research in an aeronautical related area

Responsibilities

• Aerodynamics support to AIR products and projects.
• Aerodynamics research, design, computational analysis, testing and flight clearance for complex air vehicles.
• Aerodynamics toolset development and governance.
• Ensure Agile practices align with organisational policies.
