Senior Advisor – Wastewater Flow Strategy and Compliance - 31078

We are part of a national team within the Environment and Business (E&B) directorate, focusing on planning and implementing initiatives for the Water Industry to protect and enhance environmental water quality. This role supports the delivery of our Waste Water Flow Strategy and Flow Improvement Plan.

Due to increased data management needs related to water and sewerage flows, we seek a Technical Leader with extensive sector knowledge to collaborate with our Senior Advisors in developing tools, policies, and guidance to aid operational compliance and enforcement.

The Team

Our Water Industry Compliance, Incidents, and Enforcement Teams work closely to support delivery through evidence, engagement, and innovation. We influence policy, secure resources, and collaborate with operational teams to ensure effective compliance and enforcement.

Experience/Skills Required

We seek a talented, dynamic technical leader to support programme development and delivery aimed at improving regulation of the water sector. You will need:

• Effective collaboration with diverse backgrounds and cultures, encouraging diversity considerations.
• Experience with Flow to Full Treatment Methodologies.
• Knowledge of Water Industry site processes and assets.
• Ability to manage complex data sets.
• Experience responding to technical inquiries and information requests.
• Proven project or programme leadership from inception to implementation.
• A high level of technical understanding of water flow processes is desirable.

Location & Additional Info

This is a flexible/hybrid role with an EA Office base. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
