The opportunity

Working in GCR as a Tax Senior, you will help clients meet the complex demands of today’s tax environment. You will manage relationships with key local, national, and multinational clients, delivering services and introducing specialists as needed. Joining this team offers a chance to influence and shape the tax practice while gaining invaluable experience.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful delivery of tax services, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business-focused approach.
• Build strong client and internal relationships, developing your network.
• Manage day-to-day client liaison, and coach and develop junior staff through delegation and training.
• Identify and pursue opportunities using your client work experience and technical training.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Experience in corporate tax within a large accountancy, law firm, HMRC, or in-house tax team.
• Preferred: ACA / ACCA / CA / CTA or equivalent knowledge.
• Graduate or equivalent work experience.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Project management skills, ability to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
