Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester invites applications for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Band 8a) to join the TY A Haematology & Oncology team. Applicants should hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and be eligible for non-medical prescribing, contributing across inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory settings and

Qualifications

• Registered professional (e.g., NMC/HCPC).
• MSc Degree Level 7 in advanced practice with NHSE guidance.
• IR(M)ER training where relevant to background.
• Blood product prescriber where applicable.
• Non-medical prescriber where relevant; teaching/assessing qualification.
• Research qualification and leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessments for highly complex patients within TY A Haematology/Oncology.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams; deliver safe, personalised care.
• Practice non-medical prescribing to support treatment pathways.
• Contribute to education, research, and quality improvement.
• Develop and optimise TYA oncology/haematology/transplant services.
