Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced advanced practitioner to assume clinical leadership for a complex care team. The role involves supervising staff, leading service development, and ensuring adherence to NICE/DH guidance in a 7-day service context.

You will work with the Clinical Manager and Operational Services Manager to deliver evidence-based care pathways, manage recruitment and budgets, and implement operational policies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within NHS settings.
• Knowledge of NHS policies, recruitment guidelines and HR processes.
• Ability to provide clinical leadership and professional expertise to a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and management of junior staff.
• Lead clinical service development and policy implementation with senior colleagues.
• Participate in recruitment and budget management within the service.
• Develop and review operational/clinical policies in collaboration with Clinical Manager.
• Deliver a 7-day, 24/7 service as required, with appropriate shift patterns.
