Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and proficient Senior Administrator. The post holder will offer exceptional customer service while managing appointment bookings, clinics outpatient calendars and secretarial support for the Lambeth LWC Community teams. The successful applicant will possess robust organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel. The post holder will be comfortable with IT and keen to learn new software packages and processes. This is a challenging role working within an extremely busy office and it is therefore important that you are enthusiastic, motivated and able to work under pressure. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for the day-to-day administration within the community service.
  2. To be proficient with Microsoft Office applications on behalf of the clinical team, including booking appointments with the consultants and the care co-ordinators.
  3. Deal sensitively with patients, patients\' relatives and clinical staff and ensure that urgent matters are drawn to the attention of relevant staff quickly and accurately.
  4. Responsible for the recording, maintaining, updating and accuracy of clinical activity and patient information pertaining to the service. Ensure activity on the ePJS is accurate.
  5. To be involved with the induction and liaising with digital services to get new staff to the team onto the system.
  6. Maintain office systems, enabling the prompt retrieval of information.
  7. To maintain and ensure high levels of data collection and data quality for the service, achieving 100% accuracy in specific identified areas in line with Trust targets.
  8. To support and work in close liaison with multi-professional team.
  9. To take overall responsibility for maintaining and updating an accurate waiting list for the unit on a weekly basis, ensuring excellent communication links with the clinical staff to enable them to make informed decisions regarding individual patients.
  10. To be involved in staff meetings and discussions as appropriate.
  11. To have basic knowledge of digital services to assist colleagues with IT tasks.
  12. To takes minutes as required at various meetings and attend Teams meetings as required.
  13. Support the service wide and local administrative cover arrangements.
  14. To work on other sites as required.
  15. To provide Ad-hoc administrative and project support
  16. Process e-procurement requests when required.
  17. To undertake tasks deemed necessary to the grade and the needs of the service.
