Department: Academic Quality and Standards

Part Time: 18.5 hours per week (0.5 fte)

18 Month Fixed-Term Contract in the first instance

We are currently seeking an experienced senior administrator to join our friendly and supportive team based at our Chichester campus. The key focus of this role is to provide high level support within the Academic Quality and Standards Service, including managing claims from students for mitigating circumstances as well as providing support for programme approval, annual monitoring, periodic review and Boards of Examiners. You will also liaise and work with academic and management colleagues, as well as external stakeholders. AQSS also supports and manages processes for Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies including ESFA, Ofsted, and the Office for Students.

About you

You will have an Undergraduate degree or significant relevant experience in an appropriate environment: customer service, legal or regulatory, such as auditing. You will need good interpersonal and communication skills, a professional manner and the ability to build relationships and respect confidentiality. You will need to be approachable, adaptable and conscientious with a strong student focus. Previous administrative experience is essential, ideally within a similar environment, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage and prioritise workload.
