Senior Administrator - Paediatric Bereavement

We are looking for a highly skilled senior administrator to work in our paediatric bereavement team. The post holder will be required to handle highly sensitive and confidential information, so must have a high level of emotional resilience and ability to maintain professional composure in stressful situations, whilst maintaining total confidentiality at all times. The ideal candidate will have well developed interpersonal skills, be able to work to deadlines and have strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.

Main duties of the job

• To provide administrative support within the services and across the directorate, as and when required to assist in the delivery of the Trust's
• organisational expectations, high quality patient care and experience as well as clinical and operational standards.
• To be a point of contact for the receipt of information on the deaths of all children (0-18 Years) that occurs within the Trust and/or for children who normally reside in the London Borough of Sutton
• To liaise with key professionals across SW London, Surrey and the rest of England to facilitate the Child Death Review process for children normally resident in Sutton or who died within or had contact with the Trust.

Education

• oGCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent.

Experience

• oExperience in a complex NHS organisation. oExperience of working in children's services in the acute or community NHS settings oAwareness of local and national guidance of Child Death Process and Bereaved families oExperience working within children's safeguarding
