Senior Administrator - Commissioning and Performance

Service Location: One Angel Square, Northamptonshire, NN1 1ED

Working Schedule: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm with 35 minutes unpaid break

Pay Rate: £14.81 per hour PAYE

Duration: Temporary basis, 2 months with potential to extend

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client, West Northamptonshire Council, for a Senior Administrator to support the Commissioning and Performance Service.

Are you an experienced Administrator who can thrive in busy office environments? Do your organisational skills excel in creating order by scheduling and setting up meetings?

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist, coach, and mentor less experienced colleagues with routine tasks to support the achievement of individual and team goals.
  2. Arrange all aspects of internal, inter-departmental, and inter-agency meetings and minute meetings as required while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  3. Handle a wide range of queries and correspondence, responding effectively and providing a point of contact for ongoing queries.
  4. Assist in the delivery and maintenance of business processes.
  5. Collate data for reports from various systems.
Required Experience:
  • Previous strong administrative experience.
  • Competent in manipulating and analysing data.
  • Previous experience in Office Administration and busy office environments.
  • Keen eye for detail with the confidence and initiative to investigate discrepancies.
  • Good IT skills using Microsoft Applications including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence in liaising with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills.
