  • Handle client payroll processing in conjunction with the payroll provider.

Senior Administrator
Edinburgh City Centre based | fully office-based initially with flexible working available
Permanent role | Full time hours | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm
Salary up to £29,000 per annum + benefits (depending on experience)

Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with a leading Legal firm based in Edinburgh City Centre to recruit this role on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be based within one of the firm's law departments and will be responsible for providing comprehensive, varied & high-level Administration support, as well as some client-facing work.

This role would ideally suit an experienced Administrator from a corporate or professional background who has first class communication skills and excellent attention to detail!

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Providing comprehensive & proactive administrative assistance to the department which comprises a Partner/Divisional Head & 3 Solicitors
* Dealing as first point of contact for all correspondence, emails and telephone enquiries from clients and stakeholders in relation to the team's work - ensuring the highest level of professionalism is displayed at all time
* Dealing with income receipts & payouts
* Tracking and following up all daily and ongoing tasks
* Preparation of documentation & papers for meetings
* Attending meetings to take notes & produce both minutes & actions
* Organisation & filing of client files, documents & emails - utilising the company's Document Management system
* Administration and processing of the monthly Client Payroll cycle in conjunction with the company payroll provider
* Extensive use of Excel to at least an intermediate level
* Various ad hoc administration duties as required

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Extensive previous experience within an Administration role from within a corporate or professional setting - this experience is ESSENTIAL
* First class communication skills, both written & verbal - as you will be dealing with clients on a daily basis
* Excellent organisation skills & excellent attention to detail
* Solid IT skills including a good level of competence with the MS Office suite (particularly Excel) and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
* Complete confidentiality in your work as you will be required to handle sensitive client information as part of your role.
