Job description

This post presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Administrator to join our busy and varied team. The role will support all functional areas of the Exams & Awards Team. You will be responsible for supervising staff, facilitating processes and procedures, and working with level 3 colleagues and the Team Leader to ensure efficient and effective services to students, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as Awards Lead and Invigilation Supervisor.
  2. Supervise staff and manage projects, with experience in supervision or project management being beneficial.
  3. Coordinate events, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
  4. Perform data analysis and utilize Excel skills confidently.
  5. Provide excellent customer service.
  6. Adapt quickly to change, plan and prioritise work activities, and use initiative and judgment to resolve problems.
  7. Commit to delivering high-quality services with attention to detail.
  8. Engage in a variety of activities beyond desk work, including data analysis and project liaison.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent team player with effective partnership working.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in event management is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work independently.

Additional Information:

This role requires some work to be completed in the office/on campus due to workload and task requirements.
