An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Senior Administration Assistant to join our admin team who provide senior, comprehensive administration support across all our teams within Neurological Rehabilitation Services, Doncaster Care Group.

This is a permanent post, 30 hours per week worked Monday to Friday, based at Tickhill Road Hospital.

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Whether you already work for us or are joining the Trust and NHS for the first time, apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know-how in order to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other visitors to the departments, in person, by phone and in writing, with courtesy and discretion.

To provide day to day effective and efficient administration support of a branch of the Care Group

  • Support administration teams to be able to work to deadlines and prioritise workload, ensuring effective support for the achievement of contracted targets
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Deal with administrative tasks to deliver a positive outcome
  • Supervise and line management administrative staff on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensure necessary cover at all time

The salary for this role is £24,937 to £26,598 a year, pro rata.
