An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the new Maternal Mental Health Service as a Senior Administrator.

We seek an individual with clerical experience, strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to organise and prioritise workload. Passionate team players delivering key interventions to women and families during crucial times are encouraged to apply.

Main duties of the job
  1. Provide administrative support for efficient office and service operations.
  2. Schedule meetings and perform duties such as filing, typing, copying, and scanning.
  3. Support clinical teams and services within administrative procedures.
  4. Contribute to planning and development of the Maternal Mental Health Service as part of the wider team.
  5. Develop and maintain administration support systems autonomously.
  6. Manage all aspects of team meetings, including minute-taking and action follow-up.
  7. Handle all incoming emails for referral and administrative purposes within the team's generic email accounts.

Person Specification
Knowledge
  • Literate and numerate.
  • Proficient in keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent, or Advanced ECDL.
  • Knowledge of work procedures and practices.
Skills and Competencies
  • Effective planning and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to commute between various sites.
  • Light physical effort for lifting stationery/files, and sitting or standing at a reception desk.
Qualifications
  • Advanced keyboard skills: RSA/OCR III or equivalent, or Advanced ECDL.
  • At least 3 GCSEs/O levels, including English and Maths.
  • Additional qualifications such as A' Level, BTEC Diploma, NVQ3 in Business Administration or Customer Service, or equivalent experiential learning.
Experience
  • Relevant practice and procedural experience.
  • Experience organising, preparing for, and supporting meetings.
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
