Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) invites applications for an experienced Band 8a Practitioner (NMP or AMP) in the Adult ADHD Team. The role involves independent prescribing, diagnosis, and ongoing management of adults with ADHD, aligned to NICE guidance and CNWL policies.

You will lead multidisciplinary collaboration, contribute to ADHD care pathways, and support service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• NMC RMN registration and MSc or equivalent in a relevant field.
• V300 non-medical prescribing qualification.
• Recent Safeguarding Children training.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
• Experience with ADHD assessments and running ADHD clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert pharmacological management and ongoing clinical care for adults with ADHD.
• Lead on prescribing, titration, monitoring, and physical health oversight.
• Provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team and supervise staff.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audits, and research activities.
