Senior - AD Building Surveyor - L2 / L3 work - London - Hybrid working - up to £80,000 basic

We are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a London-based independent practice. The successful candidate will lead a small team with growth plans in the coming months and years. The role focuses on quality, with reports typically produced three days per week and two days in the office for report writing. The work will predominantly be L2/L3 Building Surveying, including dilapidations, contract administration and project management.

The practice offers progression opportunities as the business grows, with managers open to developing careers over the coming years. Friendly, supportive management is in place, and candidates without prior management experience will still be considered.

Offering

• Basic salary up to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and track record
• No separate car allowance; mileage included in basic salary
• Bonus: likely around 10% of any billing over 3x salary, to be discussed
• 45p per mile as mileage allowance
• Other benefits to be discussed at interview

• Average turnaround time for a building survey is 7 days, may be longer for commercial
