Jewish Care is seeking an Activities Organiser to create a lively, inclusive programme for residents, planning, delivering social, recreational, educational and therapeutic activities, including outings and events with the wider Jewish community.

You will work with residents, families and volunteers to encourage participation, support independence and wellbeing, manage volunteers, undertake risk assessments, and bring fresh ideas while drawing on dementia awareness and first aid training.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and leading a varied activities programme tailored to residents.
• Ability to work with volunteers and families to support participation.
• Knowledge of dementia and person-centred care is preferred.
