We work in a hybrid way, mostly remote with a requirement to travel into our Walsall office at least twice a week to work with the team. You should be located within a convenient commute to Walsall.

The broader HomeServe and Ding Acquisition and Growth team drive sales and subscriptions across Paid Media, Traditional channels, and Partner activity.

We are relentless in our approach to do the right thing, both for the business and the customer. We work as a tight team, sharing ideas, experience, and knowledge to solve problems together. We take risks and think creatively, always testing and trying new things to improve. We encourage ownership and boldness in challenging how we do things. Everyone has a voice and the opportunity to make an impact.

As the Senior Media Manager for Ding within the Acquisition team, you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of media campaigns across all channels. Your role will focus on driving subscriptions effectively and efficiently, exploring new channels, optimising media investment, leveraging data and insights, and driving measurement and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Develop marketing strategies tailored to each segment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer insights, including lapsed customers.
  3. Work within a fast-paced multi-functional team to grow Ding as a key part of the HomeServe portfolio.
  4. Manage media agency partnerships to allocate and optimise budgets across channels like DM, email, Inserts, Press, Paid and Organic Search, social, Display, Audio, ensuring reach, frequency, and ROI.
  5. Measure campaign effectiveness, develop post-campaign reports, and share insights with stakeholders.
  6. Coordinate with agencies and internal teams for high-quality campaign delivery, including creative, targeting, and reporting.
  7. Implement test and learn frameworks to improve performance continually.
  8. Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring new platforms and tools for media innovation.
  9. Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure integrated and viable media plans.
  10. Manage budgets to optimise media investments for efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Champion Ding within the business.
  12. Lead and develop the team, driving engagement and growth.

About The Candidate

To succeed, you will need:

  • Experience in a subscription-based business, focusing on retention and app downloads.
  • A 'start-up' mindset, comfortable with testing, quick failures, and rapid iteration.
  • Growth/Performance Marketing leadership with media experience, understanding full funnel media.
  • Commercial acumen with multi-channel budget management, sales forecasting, and planning.
  • Excellent written communication skills, confident in engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, using data and customer insights to improve performance.
  • Outcome-oriented with collaborative working style.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform under pressure and ambiguity.
  • A team player willing to collaborate across functions to achieve marketing excellence.
