The successful candidate will bring extensive postgraduate experience in acoustic consultancy for buildings, expertise in modelling and a track record in managing projects and budgets.

Qualifications

• Strong degree in acoustics, ideally with related studies at graduate/postgraduate level.
• IOA membership or equivalent is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy in architectural and engineering acoustics at strategic and detailed levels.
• Generate innovative solutions to complex issues meeting business needs.
• Resolve acoustical engineering issues ensuring compliance with statutory bodies.
• Summarise data interpretations and provide conclusions; supervise and co-ordinate the work of others.
• Manage project teams to produce deliverables to deadlines; forecast and control budgets.
• Build client relationships, respond to enquiries, and draft fee proposals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
