Days Shifts (No Timesheets) • £40,000-£50,000 base salary + bonuses & benefits

My client is one of the world's leading independent consultancies within their industry with a privately owned business, based within commutable distance from Bristol & the South West. They are currently looking for a skilled Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Bristol.

The Role
  • Lead and manage RIBA Stages 2 6 building acoustics projects, from early design through to completion.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and design teams, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery.
  • Deliver pragmatic, creative acoustic solutions that balance technical requirements with client needs.
  • Take responsibility for project and design team management, ensuring outputs meet the highest professional standards.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, helping to grow capability within the Bristol office.
  • Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and influencing future strategy.
  • Represent the consultancy at meetings and events, enhancing visibility and professional reputation.
Minimum Skills / Experience
  • C. 4+ years experience in acoustic consultancy, with a strong emphasis on building acoustics.
  • Proven ability to manage RIBA 2 6 projects and coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered status with the IOA (or equivalent).
  • Excellent technical, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and enthusiasm for contributing to company growth and direction.
  • A collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring and developing others.

  • Salary: circa £40,000 £50,000 (depending on experience).
