Job summary

Alexander Kaye Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Senior Accountant/Tax Personal Tax Manager for a Derbyshire Chartered Accountants firm. The role offers hybrid working and can be full or part-time hours, with a focus on taxation and accounts production.

You will prepare Self Assessment returns, handle personal tax queries, compute Capital Gains Tax, and manage MTD submissions for around 60 clients per quarter, along with accounts and VAT/bookkeeping on Xero.

Qualifications

• Prepare and submit Self Assessment tax returns.
• Advise clients on personal tax matters and queries.
• Compute and submit Capital Gains Tax computations.
• Prepare MTD quarterly returns for around 60 clients per quarter.
• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Handle VAT/bookkeeping for clients on Xero.
• Submit Corporation Tax Returns to HMRC.

Our client is a well respected firm of Derbyshire Chartered Accountants.

They have an interesting role which would appeal to a Practice Accountant who enjoys taxation and accounts production. The Practice offers a friendly, nice working environment.

• Preparation and submission of Self Assessment Tax Return
• Dealing with clients on tax queries, tax return information and personal tax advice
• Capital Gains Tax Computations preparation and submission
• Preparation of MTD quarterly tax returns for circa 60 clients per quarter- liaising with clients and HMRC
• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• VAT/bookkeeping work for client on Xero
• Submission of Corporation Tax Returns to HMRC
