Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd in Canterbury is seeking an Accounts & Tax Senior to join a modern, growing practice. The role involves year-end accounts, corporation tax and personal tax work, with opportunities to advise clients and expand commercial knowledge.

You will work with cloud-based systems, liaise directly with clients, and manage a varied portfolio alongside senior colleagues. This role offers progression within a technology-driven environment and client advisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience with statutory accounts preparation, corporation tax and personal tax.
• Confidence using accounting software and cloud technology.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Organised with the ability to own your workload.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies.
• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Prepare personal tax returns and support clients with tax compliance.
• Prepare management accounts and help clients understand financial performance.
• Assist with business advisory work and additional client projects.
• Use cloud accounting software and modern systems to deliver work efficiently.
• Liaise directly with clients, answer queries and build strong working relationships.
• Manage workload to complete assignments accurately and on time.
