Job summary

Butler Rose Public Practice is seeking a Senior Accounts Manager to oversee a portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients in a partner-led, high-responsibility role in Finchley, London. The position offers hybrid working (3-2) and exposure to senior Partners with a focus on technical review and client relationships.

You will review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations, supervise staff, manage workflow, and ensure timely delivery while monitoring WIP and billing.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with post qualification experience.
• Strong UK practice background.
• Proven management experience, including staff supervision and workflow management.
• Experience reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed clients, acting as main contact for the portfolio.
• Review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns, resolving technical accounting and tax matters as needed.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members while coordinating workflow and ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor WIP and recoverability and oversee billing.
• Support Partners in maintaining excellent client service standards.
