Would you like to work for a Global Reinsurance Broker?

We are looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Controller to join our client servicing team in Ipswich!

This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring that balances are paid in accordance with contract conditions. You will collaborate daily with colleagues in London and Mumbai.

Reinsurance experience is not essential as we will provide training. If you currently work within accounts and seek a new challenge within a collaborative and encouraging environment, please apply today!

How You'll Make An Impact
  • Ensure the secure, efficient, and auditable handling of client’s monies
  • Be responsible for the fiscal relationship for designated clients and act as the main point of contact for all matters relating to payments
  • Service accounts to a high standard, ensuring timely collection and payment of monies due to/from clients, reinsurers, and third parties; perform reconciliation, chasing, and minimize funding to meet financial metrics
  • Use MI to identify debtor-related issues and negotiate or influence resolutions
  • Conduct daily analysis and correlation of cash
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with key partners
  • Complete Account Controller core requirements reviews as appropriate
  • Comply with standardised Group policies and procedures, including regulations and sanctions
About You
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • CII qualifications or studying towards are advantageous
  • Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize
  • Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently; eager to learn and grow
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and brokers
  • Good time management skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
