Job description

A travel brand on the rise, specialized in the development, manufacture, marketing, and distribution of fashion-conscious travel goods. We are an ambitious, dynamic, and fast-growing company with an open, friendly, and supportive culture.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, well-organized, and diligent individual who can work to strict deadlines while paying close attention to detail. You will work both independently and as part of a small team.

Your daily tasks will be diverse and varied, involving different reports and computer systems. The key duties include:

  1. Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions
  2. Perform customer, supplier, and nominal account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  3. Conduct balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
  4. Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  5. Assist in preparing VAT returns and other tax submissions
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
  7. Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed
  8. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
Requirements
  • Highly proficient in Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
  • Recent and strong experience in bookkeeping and accounting software
  • Good understanding of accounting and tax principles
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • High numeracy skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload effectively
