Job summary

Autograph Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Accounts Senior in Swansea for a full-time, permanent role. With £30,000–£45,000 DOE, you will take ownership of client work, mentor junior team members and strengthen relationships.

The ideal candidate has over four years in practice, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent, and solid experience in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and cloud-based software such as Xero or QuickBooks. Audit exposure is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Audit experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance.
• Confident using accounting software and cloud-based tools (Xero, QuickBooks).
• Strong communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Assist with audit assignments from planning through to completion (where applicable).
• Prepare corporation tax computations and company tax returns.
• Produce management accounts and provide insightful commentary to clients.
• Liaise directly with clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Support and mentor junior members of the team.
