Job summary

RECfinancial are supporting a well-established local business in South Leicestershire to appoint an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis.

This varied role requires a proactive and organised individual who can manage multiple accounting tasks, assist in financial statements, VAT, and month-end processes, and work closely with the Finance Manager. UK experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage accounting software (Sage 200 preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Processing of payments and receipt tracking.
• Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices and payment runs.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, reports and reconciliations.
• Support with cashflow and month-end/year-end closing.
