Senior Accounts Assistant Opportunity - Harrogate

Sewell Wallis is working on a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join a well-known and sought-after business in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This role offers exposure to the full management accounts process within a large, successful organization on a permanent basis.

This position is ideal for a Senior Accounts Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and will provide high-level support to the wider team.

The company has experienced significant change and development recently, making it an exciting time to join, with many new projects underway. They have a low staff turnover, reflecting a positive working environment, and are looking for someone eager to develop within the role, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and post journals
  • Support with posting and reconciling month-end sales recharges
  • Manage monthly prepayments and accruals
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial packs for clients and property managers
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Act as an internal contact for accounting queries
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required
