Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounts department.
• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent experience.
• Experience in cloud-based accounting software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for clients including tax returns.
• Work with clients to resolve queries and maintain relationships.
• Prepare VAT returns for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Submit Company Tax Returns
• Prepare Personal Tax Returns for a variety of individuals
• Prepare VAT returns for assigned clients
• Work with leading cloud-based software such as Xero and Quick Books
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 year's experience working in an accounts department (Industry or Practice)
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, or similar
• Strong communication skills - able to speak clearly with clients and colleagues
• 37.5 hours per week (Flexible across Mon-Fri)
• Office based role with some flexibility once passed probation
• Friendly office environment + social events
