We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our forward-thinking Finance team. This role is part of the Corporate & Technical Team within the Finance Directorate, supporting the financial accounting requirements of the Council.

The successful candidate will demonstrate precision and diligence in managing significant monetary values. The role involves using various software systems, including the Council’s SAP finance system, to support treasury functions, financial analysis, reporting, and transaction recording. You will assist the Finance Manager in developing strategies and performance reports in critical areas of finance, with access to professional advisors and regulatory guidance.

Applicants must be fully qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) or equivalent. This is a Grade 9 role with a recent pay increase of 3.2%.
