Job summary

Insite Public Practice Recruitment Limited is seeking an Experienced Senior Accountant in Coventry to take ownership of reviewing client work, resolving technical queries and mentoring junior colleagues.

You will focus on delivering accurate, technically sound work, coordinating with clients and auditors, and guiding the team to raise standards across the practice.

This permanent, full-time role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills within a well-established practice.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with strong experience in accountancy practice.
• Experience reviewing work, handling technical accounting matters and supervising juniors.
• Experience with group accounts, consolidations and statutory reporting is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Review statutory and management accounts for accuracy and compliance
• Oversee preparation and review of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and partnership returns
• Take responsibility for final review and sign-off of completed work
• Prepare and review dividend and interest planning calculations
• Work with auditors to resolve queries and technical accounting matters
• Review accounts for medium-sized businesses and consolidated groups
• Build strong client relationships through clear and professional communication
• Identify opportunities to add value across the client portfolio
• Support and mentor junior team members with technical queries
• Improve processes, consistency and quality
