A leading NHS organization is seeking a finance professional to support its objectives by delivering cost management and budget reviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting and budgeting, with excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams. This hybrid role requires a proactive and motivated individual to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
The Financial team is a centralized finance team working closely with the Services to provide financial advice and expertise. You will play a crucial role in supporting the objectives of the Finance Team in building relationships, maintaining value for money, and developing innovative ways of working.
We work in a hybrid manner, combining office days with remote work. As part of this team, you will be expected to work from the office for a minimum of two days per week.
This role supports the Place directorate and requires experience in Revenue and/or Capital.

We seek enthusiastic individuals capable of working as part of a team to deliver results supporting the wider finance function. You should be proactive, dynamic, motivated, and capable of meeting strict deadlines. You will be an accountant with significant experience in funding models, management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience in business partnering across finance and non-finance teams, preparing budgets, and engaging diverse stakeholders is essential. Prior experience in a Local Authority is not mandatory.
