Job summary

MS Amlin is seeking a Senior Accountant (12-month FTC) in London to lead the monthly close and reporting for the Service and Holding entities. You will manage journals, reconciliations, and statutory accounts while improving controls and supporting internal/external reporting.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with strong technical skills in ERP/Excel and a proven track record in multi-entity environments. Hybrid working and a discretionary bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong month-end, statutory accounts and audit liaison experience.
• Proven ability to produce and review financial reporting and management information.
• Experience in multi-entity environments and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledgers and monthly/quarterly close for service and holding companies.
• Prepare complex journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany recharges, and reclassifications.
• Own balance sheet substantiation and reconciliations; drive issues to resolution.
