Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification.
• Experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience managing a varied client portfolio.
• Strong accounts and corporation tax knowledge.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and adaptable to new systems.
• Experience with Xero, Sage, CaseWare or CCH is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of clients and acting as a key point of contact.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Preparing corporation tax computations.
• Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
• Assisting with pricing, proposals and new business opportunities.
• Identifying improvements to processes and ways to enhance the client experience.
• Keeping up to date with relevant accounting and tax developments.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm.
• Taking part in ongoing training and professional development.
