Job summary

Flywheel, part of Omnicom, is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join the London-based finance team. You will support the monthly close, prepare journals, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll accounting, intercompany activity and statutory reporting in a busy multinational environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (UK GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in general ledger and month-end close.
• Experience with SAP (ideally SAP S/4HANA).

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring and general month-end journal entries with proper support.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Support full month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze general ledger activity for unusual transactions and variances.
• Assist with payroll accounting and intercompany reconciliations and billing.
