Senior Accountant - FP&A and Regulatory Reporting

Responsibilities
  • Regulatory reporting for European entities within the group, including the preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external purposes following required GAAP and regulatory standards. Specific focus on regulatory submissions including Lloyd's UK GAAP and Solvency UK submissions, US Situs, TRIA, NAIC, CBI QRTs and annual statutory financial statements.
  • Support financial accounting, internal controls, budgeting and financial reporting within regulatory reporting.
  • Engage in the company's Financial Planning and Analysis activities, understand the financial performance of regional entities and provide insight to stakeholders.
  • Interact across multiple areas of the business and work with the wider Global Finance Team to add value across relevant teams.
  • FP&A work includes analysis of local results for management and board reporting, participation in the annual budgeting process at a regional level, project work as assigned and providing general support to the Finance Department and other teams as needed.
Qualifications
  • Qualified accountants with experience gained within the (re)insurance industry, including experience with regulatory reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of US/UK GAAP.
  • Working knowledge of general ledger systems and policy administration/accounting systems.
