Overview

A global Reinsurance business is seeking a qualified accountant to join its FP&A and Regulatory Reporting team in London.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory reporting for European entities, including preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external purposes following required GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Regulatory submissions including Lloyd’s UK GAAP and Solvency UK submissions, US Situs, TRIA, NAIC, CBI QRTs and annual statutory financial statements.
• FP&A activities: analysis of local results for management and board reporting, the annual budgeting process at regional level, project work, and general support to the Finance Department and other teams.
• Engagement across multiple areas of the business and collaboration with the wider Global Finance Team to add value.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountants with experience in the (re)insurance industry.
• Experience with regulatory reporting; strong knowledge of US/UK GAAP.
• Working knowledge of general ledger systems and policy administration/accounting systems.
