JobPurpose:Join Highland Council as a Senior Accountant and play a vital role in delivering expert financial support across our service areas.


Based in the Highlands, this permanent position offers flexible hybrid working from any of our offices across the region. This full-time role (35 hours/week) includes responsibilities such as VAT, budget preparation, financial reporting, audit coordination, and team leadership. You will also ensure robust financial compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies, supporting the Council’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

Requirements
