Job Description
As a key addition as Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant based in Bideford, you will play a hands-on role within the team, taking on increasing responsibilities such as mentoring juniors, reviewing work, and delivering year-end accounts, tax, and broader services. You will develop client relationships and undertake preparation and review of accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, with a significant focus on limited companies. You will also handle general taxation work, including personal and corporate tax, VAT returns, and bookkeeping advice. The role offers opportunities for career progression and an influential position within a growing firm.
The Successful Applicant
The firm considers candidates at various levels, tailoring the role accordingly. Candidates may be part ACA/ACCA, qualified, or experienced Senior Accountants within practice. Alternatively, those with substantial experience in accountancy practice, including AAT-qualified professionals with 3-4+ years of experience, are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have a background in preparing accounts and tax for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, with a desire to develop their career further.
