Job Description

As a Senior Accountant based in Weston-Super-Mare, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance. You will oversee, review, and actively participate in bookkeeping, VAT, and other services for clients across various industries and turnover ranges. Additionally, you will support and mentor junior staff and play a key role within the firm, assisting directors as needed.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate may be qualified or partly qualified (AAT, ATT, ACA/ACCA) or have gained relevant experience through working in UK accountancy practices. You should have experience preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT for a variety of clients. Candidates at the Senior Accountant level seeking new challenges are encouraged to apply. Full or part-time hours are negotiable, with flexible working arrangements including hybrid options.
