Job summary

Brabner Fox in Lancashire is seeking a qualified Client Manager to own a portfolio of regular clients and run it as your own. You will deliver statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporation and personal tax returns across monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines.

You’ll also support clients with basic tax planning and mentor junior team members. Beyond client work, you’ll engage in project activity such as forecasting, cashflows and due diligence, collaborating closely with directors to

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA or ICAEW with 3–5 years’ PQE.
• Strong understanding of corporation tax, personal tax and VAT.
• Experience training and supervising junior team members.

Responsibilities

Excited to be supporting a top 15 firm in Lancashire looking for a qualified Client Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of regular clients and run it as your own.

You’ll deliver statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporation and personal tax returns across a mix of monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines. You’ll also support clients with basic tax planning, review, train and manage junior team members, and work closely with the directors.

Beyond the portfolio, you’ll get involved in project work like forecasting, cashflows and due diligence, so it won’t be the same work week in, week out.

What you’ll bring:

• ACCA or ICAEW qualified with 3-5 years’ PQE
• Solid corporation tax and personal tax experience
• FRS 102 Section 1A and management accounts experience
• A good working understanding of VAT
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting platforms such as Xero and Sage
• Experience training and managing juniors
