Alexander Daniels are partnering with a well-established Accountancy Practice that is looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, managing a diverse portfolio, and acting as a trusted advisor to businesses.

You will manage a varied portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors, taking ownership of client relationships and providing

Qualifications

ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
Experience working within an accountancy practice.
Experience managing a client portfolio.
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Proactive and commercial approach to client service.
Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of SME clients across sectors.
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
Reviewing management accounts and bookkeeping work.
Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns.
Acting as the main point of contact for clients and responding to day-to-day queries.
Advising clients on business performance, growth, and financial matters.
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
Identifying opportunities to add value and develop client relationships.
Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
