Job description

Our client is looking for a new senior staff member to join their busy office in Sudbury. It is expected that the successful candidate will be fully qualified ACCA or ACA, potentially with some post-qualification experience.

The role involves managing accountancy and taxation matters for a variety of small business clients, including the preparation of financial statements and related taxation computations to a final stage.

The successful individual will report directly to a partner, manage a small team of accounts staff, and handle routine client inquiries, raising and clearing queries as needed.

The candidate should be capable of organizing their own work priorities and timings across multiple assignments. They should also be aware of administrative requirements related to client management and be responsible for updating and collating administrative information.

Responsibilities include allocating assignments to staff, reviewing progress, assisting with queries and training, finalizing accounts, and drafting correspondence to clients for signatures or partner review.
