Job summary

A financial services provider is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Southampton. The role involves delivering comprehensive accounting services for private equity and real estate structures, managing junior staff, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate should possess an ACA or ACCA qualification and have at least 4 years of experience in financial services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' practical accounting working experience in a financial services environment.
• Experience in producing financial statements to IFRS, UK GAAP or other appropriate standards.
• Experience with VAT returns preparation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager to deliver professional service to clients.
• Prepare and review quarterly management accounts.
• Manage quarterly and annual reporting cycles for clients.
