Senior Accountant

A growing practice is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Leeds. This client have had a great 2024, and as a result, are looking to add a senior accountant to allow them to continue growing in 2025.

With a highly varied client base, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment. This senior be instrumental in managing client engagements, supporting more junior team members, and contributing to a high performing atmosphere.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee an allocation of clients within a varied portfolio
2. Preparation of Statutory accounts
3. Preparation of Management Accounts
4. Corporate and Personal Tax
5. Review of accounts prepared by the team
6. Training and advice on accounting software
7. Assist with staff development and training

Skills and Qualities

1. 3 years experience in a practice environment
2. ACCA/ ACA Qualified, QBE, Part Qualified
