Job summary

Armstrong Knight Ltd is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant looking to step up to a Senior Accountant role. This position involves handling VAT returns, payroll, and preparing accounts for various entity types. Ideal candidates will have over 4 years in accountancy, be ACCA qualified, and possess essential software knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accountancy practice experience required.
• Expectation of competitive pay and eligibility for sick pay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly VAT returns and payroll.
• Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
• Conduct ad hoc work including management accounts and Companies House submissions.

Knowledge of PAYE regulations

Job description

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Quarterly VAT Returns and Payroll
• Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
• Other ad hoc work, e.g., preparation of P11D's, Management Accounts, and Companies House submissions
• Literate in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with accountancy packages such as Iris, Sage, and Xero is essential
• Knowledge of current PAYE regulations is beneficial
