Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by a leading Scottish business to recruit a Senior Accountant based in Aberdeenshire.

Who is our client:

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Accountant is accountable for supporting with the day-to-day management and operation of the accounting team.

This individual will have primary responsibility for compliance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Payroll, Treasury, Tax Filing, Stock and audits.

The role will be involved in enhancement projects within the finance team and may also be exposed to those in the wider organisation.

The finance department harnesses the use of modern systems including D365 and Power BI. These are integrated into the business and operate highly efficiently.

The Senior Accountant will have the opportunity to help to further drive efficiency with systems, processes and procedures.

The Senior Accountant will also be a key participant and be exposed to M&A activity.

Who are we looking for:

Position suits recently qualified accountants looking to make a progressive move into industry (newly to 3 years post qualified), or applicants who have made the move into industry during the past three years and who now seek a broader role.
