Job description

Shape your workday around your life, with a hybrid model and fluid hours designed to maximise your productivity and keep your priorities in perfect balance.

In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-quality advisory services, preparing accounts, supporting tax colleagues, and ensuring a seamless client experience from initial records through to final sign-off. You'll be trusted to spot issues early, coordinate with colleagues across service lines, and create opportunities to add value for clients.

Your accuracy, initiative, and collaborative approach will make you an essential member of the team, helping maintain high standards, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued growth of the firm. With access to modern tools and digital accounting platforms, you'll streamline complex workloads, develop your technical expertise, and further enhance your professional standing.

What you'll do

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of advisory work, taking responsibility for the end-to‑end preparation of draft accounts from client records, resolving review points, and finalising files to a high standard.

Working closely with tax and relationship managers, you’ll prepare initial business and personal tax computations, coordinate workflows, and ensure budgets and timelines are realistic and well‑managed.

You’ll build strong relationships with client teams, both remotely and on‑site, maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring any issues or overruns are flagged promptly. You’ll also identify opportunities to further support clients and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes.

What you’ll need
  • A background in public practice
  • Qualified or nearing completion of AAT, CA, ACCA or equivalent (strong experience without a qualification will also be considered)
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using cloud accounting packages such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Tax knowledge or experience (advantageous but not essential)
  • The permanent right to work in the UK without restrictions
