Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Norwich

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Norwich. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive financial services to a diverse range of clients across various industries. If you have a passion for accounting, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly management accounts for clients across various industry sectors
  • Performing accounting duties, which encompassoverseeing customer payments, and reconciling bank and cash accounts utilising accounting software like Xero and Sage.
  • Assisting clients in preparing financial information including cash flow forecasts.
  • Offering outsourced services to clients in need of this essential component within their financial operations, and supervising a team of finance professionals.
  • Ensuring timely submission and compliance with HMRC regulations for corporation tax, self-assessment tax, and VAT returns.
  • Collaborating closely with senior management of companies who require help with strategic growth.
  • Preparation of year-end accounts.

Requirements:

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in a similar role (ideally practice).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and Sage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
