TPF Recruiting, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is supporting a fantastic firm of chartered accountants looking to recruit a Senior Accountant into their growing and successful team based in Maidstone, Kent.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, providing a mixed service across accounts, tax, VAT, and bookkeeping.

Our client is recruiting due to growth and is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their team. They offer a relaxed working environment with a flexible approach and promote a good work-life balance.

They are open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Their clients vary widely, including sole traders, partnerships, Ltd companies, and multi-million-pound groups.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparation of annual and management accounts
2. Meetings with clients
3. Preparation of corporate tax returns
4. Partnership and individual self-assessment tax returns
5. Review and preparation of bookkeeping and VAT returns
6. Overseeing and supporting junior team members

Requirements:

1. ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
2. 3+ years of practice experience
3. Experience with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is advantageous
4. Commutable from Maidstone, Medway, Tonbridge, Ashford, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Faversham, etc.
