Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing asset management firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, preferably within the asset management or financial services sector. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing financial reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish month-end financial reporting processes.
  2. Prepare monthly consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements for internal and external reporting.
  3. Own the Group balance sheet, reconcile positions and track ongoing investments.
  4. Support the Group's FP&A function, including entity level budgeting and forecasting, new project analysis and treasury management.
  5. Lead the year-end accounts preparation cycle across all Group entities.
  6. Support the external audit process providing auditors with the necessary documentation and statutory accounts.
  7. Support with finance related compliance requirements.
  8. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
  9. Provide additional finance support to the business including analysis, reporting, budgets and forecasts, working closely with various departments.
Requirements
  1. Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA) with 2+ years PQE.
  2. Background in asset management industry preferred.
  3. Experience in establishing financial reporting processes including month-end and annual reporting.
  4. Experience using financial reporting software, preferably Xero.
  5. Experience with multiple currency reporting and consolidation.
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a desire to learn.
